still alive, 2016

Still Alive is a series created in collaboration by Addie Wagenknecht and Aiala Hernando. The series of three works examines the golden age still life genre from a contemporary perspective of the digital, investigating the implications of modern day life on traditional culture. The work is designed to tease out the importance of the still life, identify value of time, circumstance, and to encourage humorous encounters within our implied secrets of daily modern life.
